Zones

The Heavy Containment Zone is one of the four major areas in SCP: Secret Laboratory, which serves as the area where all playable SCPs will spawn, as well as housing the Alpha Warhead and its activation switch. It is the zone connecting the Entrance Zone to the Light Containment Zone.

Areas[]

Alongside typical hallways, "X" intersections, "T" intersection and corners, the Heavy Containment Zone has many unique rooms throughout.

Checkpoint[]

Entrance Zone

Connects the Heavy Containment Zone to the Entrance Zone. Requires Checkpoint access Keycards to get past.

Up to 2 generators or Wall-Mounted Medkits may be spawn on the HCZ side of the checkpoint.


Elevator Systems A and B[]

Elevator systems A and B are the lifts that will transport a player to and from the Light Containment Zone. They are laid out in a "T" junction formation, with the elevator system name illuminated on a digital display in the center of the room with the lifts on either side.

Two monitors above both elevators state the time until decontamination will begin. Once the Light Containment Zone decontamination has begun, the sign will read "DISABLED" and the elevators will no longer work.


Tesla Gates[]

Tesla Gate

The Tesla Gates are round portals found in the middle of some of the straight corridors in this zone. The gates activate once a player gets near them, creating walls of electricity at regular intervals, requiring a short recharge before discharging again. Players must time their movement so the gate is recharging to get past it. SCP-079 can also manipulate Tesla gates to fire at its command at the cost of Auxiliary Power.


Server Room[]

The server room is a large two-floor room containing multiple server-racks. The two floors are connected by two staircases. A Scientist Keycard is guaranteed to spawn in this room, either between the top floor behind one of the servers or the bottom floor where it is.

Up to 2 generators or Wall-Mounted Medkit may be spawn on the top floor. One can be found next to the door, the other behind the servers.


Alpha Warhead Silo[]

The Alpha Warhead Silo can be found inside a typical hallway, with a lift under an electric sign flashing "Alpha Warhead Silo". Going down a lift, there is a large round room, with the manual override switch on the left side and the switch to activate or deactivate warhead access. Beside the manual override switch console is the warhead armoury, requiring a Keycard with Tier 2 armoury access. A facility guard Keycard can be found on the shelves next to the armoury door. The armoury contains a Workstation and has a chance to contain either a MTF-E11-SR Rack or a Weapon Locker Type 21.

Up to 2 generators or Medkit wall lockers may be spawn here. One at the end of the left railing, the other across the door to the armoury.

A Bulletproof Locker №7 may also spawn here. It may spawn between a computer and server.

T-Cross Armoury[]

HCZ Armory

The T-cross armoury is found in the middle of a unique three way hallway. The room may be unlocked with a Keycard with Tier 1 armoury access and contains a large amount of various ammo magazines alongside a workstation.

Up to 2 generators or Wall-Mounted Medkit may be spawn here. They may spawn on the outer walls of the left or right of the armoury.

A Bulletproof Locker №7 may also spawn here. It may spawn inside the armoury near the far left corner.

Micro-HID Storage[]

MicroHID Door

The Micro H.I.D. is an experimental weapon, which can be found behind a windowed server area, with Tier 3 armoury access locked door protecting it alongside a workstation, and a Weapon Manager Tablet.

Up to 2 generators or Wall-Mounted Medkit may be spawn here. They may spawn to the left or right of the Micro H.I.D storage door.

A Bulletproof Locker №7 may also spawn here. It may spawn in the corner next to the left door.

SCP Containment Chambers[]

SCP Containment Chambers are often areas which require some form of Keycard clearance to open up fully, as well as serving as the spawning location for their respective SCP.


SCP-049 and SCP-173's Chamber[]

SCP-049 and SCP-173's containment chamber is accessed through a lift in a hallway wall. Unlike the Alpha Warhead room, there is no flashing sign above. The containment chamber itself is located at the end of a large room, alongside a small armory which requires Tier 2 armory access. The armory contains a workstation and has a chance to contain either a MTF-E11-SR Rack or a Weapon Locker Type 21.

A Bulletproof Locker №7 may spawn here. It may spawn between the first two pillars, across the shelf outside the armory.


SCP-079's Chamber[]

SCP-079's containment chamber is accessed through two blast doors, requiring Tier 3 containment access to open with all generators turned on. The main chamber that SCP-079 resides in is a large room with a small control center and SCP-079 itself sitting inside a cage. SCP-079 starts the round by controlling the camera inside this room.

Next to the cage, a plaque commemorating "The Beginning" can be interacted with to see the names of various players that participated in an ARG. The QR code at the top right shows this image.

Up to 2 generators or Wall-Mounted Medkit may be spawn here. They may spawn on the left or right walls of the entrance, as seen in the picture.

There is a button that can Recontain SCP-079, to activate it, you must break the glass covering the button and then push the button, this will cause a Overcharge to HCZ that can flush out SCP-079 from the system

SCP-096's Chamber[]

096 Spawn

SCP-096's containment chamber is made up of two rooms. The first is SCP-096's room in where a Dead Guard can be found with his head missing and a MTF Seargent Keycard will spawn, requiring Tier 2 containment chamber access to open. The second is a small control center with an inactive terminal and some shelves, serving as the actual area which SCP-096 spawns. The chair pictured above has since been removed as of v10.0.1.

A generator or Wall-Mounted Medkit may be spawn here. They may spawn on the wall across the computer.

A Bulletproof Locker №7 may also spawn here. It may spawn in the corner to the left of the computer.


SCP-106's Chamber[]

SCP-106's containment chamber is a big and open room, consisting of the containment unit to the right of the entrance, as well as a walkway that loops around the containment unit. On the opposite side of the room from the entrance is the control room. There are two doors to this area, each requiring a Tier 3 containment access Keycard. They act in a similar way to checkpoint doors and will automatically close after a set period of time. The control room contains the femur-breaker recontainment unit for SCP-106, and the button used to activate it. Two staircases are inside the control room as well, which reach the bottom floor of the room to a door which also requires Tier 3 containment access to open. SCP-106 spawns at the bottom floor.

A generator or Wall-Mounted Medkit may be spawn here. They may spawn on the wall to the left of the entrance door.

SCP-939's Chamber[]

SCP-939's containment chamber consists of two major sections, a cryo chamber where SCP-939 is held it features the machine to keep SCP-939 frozen and several pipes connecting to it and a Research Sector with three counters, two display cases with samples inside, and several cabinets around, there is also a bulletproof window viewing into the cryo chamber.

Inside there can spawn a Wall-Mounted Medkit in between the gap of the back counter and the back display case, a Generator to the left of SCP-939's cryo device, and a Locker to the right of the door to the cryo room.

Related Achievements[]

  • Proceed With Caution: Successfully pass through a tesla gate that SCP-079 is monitoring.

Trivia[]

  • When leveled up, SCP-079 can "blackout" any room in the zone, locking all doors and allowing SCP-173 to move uninhibited for a short amount of time.
